Yarn: 100% mercerized cotton, fingering weight.

- 50 g: Cappuccino, Cannoli Cream, Meteorite Black, Bright White, Sky Denim, Ocean Denim, Elfin Yellow, Sky Captain
- 10 g: Sandy Tan, Vivid Mustard

- Sizes 2.0 and 2.5 mm crochet hook.
- 4 medium yellow buttons.
- Embroidery floss: colours white, black, light brown, saffron, yellow, nude
- Cardboard or plastic for soles, fiberfill for stuffing.
- Marker or a piece of yarn of a different colour
- Tapestry needle, sewing needle, pins and scissors.
- Coated wire.
- Craft stick for the neck.

I enjoyed making this doll. I had lots of mercerized cotton from the amigurumi that I make so the colors are different and I ran out of black and brown so the hair is a bit shorter but I was able to adjust the pattern easily. This was my second Crochetree doll - I made Melissa also. I'll be making more!

What a fun project. Hannah is my 3rd doll. Each doll I make I learn something new. The first 2 dolls I omitted the wires for the arms and legs as I really wasn’t confident attempting that. I also didn’t use a strong enough dowel to firm up her head; so I took my first 2 dolls apart and replaced the wooden stick with a form THICK stick. Since then, I watched tutorials on how to place the wires in the arms and legs and it’s easy peezy now. I loved crocheting little miss Hannah ; what I loved most was her hair. It was so much fun.

I have crocheted 4 dolls so far, including Hannah. She was one of my first and, to be honest, I doubted that I could create her to look like the picture. But, the pattern was so easy to follow and I got excited as I finished each leg, arm, body, head, hair part. And, then, to see the finished doll...just made me want to keep going to the next one. Trust me...if you love to crochet, this is a GREAT project to do and you will get hooked. <--did you see what I did there? LOL

As always these are the most amazing dolls and the most beautiful and easy to understand instructions with pictures throughout. I have now made two Melissa dolls, one for myself and one for my mum.
