MATERIALS NEEDED
Yarn: 100% mercerized cotton, fingering weight.
Crochetree colors:
- 100g: Meteorite Black, Bright White, Mocha, and Carmine Red.
- 50 g: Misty Rose, Cappuccino.

Other materials:
- Sizes 2.5 and 2.0 mm crochet hook.
- Embroidery floss: colors: white, black, 3 shades of brown and red for the mouth.
- 3 white buttons of 10 mm for the dress.
- Cardboard or plastic for soles, fiberfill for stuffing.
- Stitch markers or a piece of yarn of a different color.
- Tapestry needle, sewing needle, pins and scissors.
- Coated wire for the arms (this is optional, and you can also add it to the legs and body).
- Craft stick (wooden stick or dowel) for the neck - for this doll I used a stick of 20 cm/7.87 inches long.
*The size of the finished doll is approx. 38 cm.
*Skill level: beginner to intermediate.
*Removable items: Dress, shoes and headband.

I'm making 2 Charlotte dolls for my twin granddaughters. I am fairly new to crochet and was hesitant to tackle anything that looks so complicated, I shouldn't have been worried.

I haven't had anytime to make her. Some people have lots of yarn, I have a stockpile of doll patterns. Right now I am finishing two blankets, then I will start a doll. Which one, I am not sure yet but it maybe Charlotte.
