MATERIALS NEEDED
Yarn: 100% mercerised cotton, fingering weight.
Crochetree colours:
- 150 g: Sundress.
- 100 g: Misty Rose, Sky Captain and Bright White.
- 50 g: Deep Mahogany
- 10 g: Elfin Yellow and Pastel Green.

- Sizes 2.5 and 2.0 mm crochet hooks.
- 4 medium size yellow buttons.
- Embroidery floss: colours white, black, light brown, dark brown, light pink.
- Tapestry needle, sewing needle, pins, and scissors.
- Coated wire and a wooden stick.

Not quite done yet as the dress actually requires more white yarn (at least the way I crochet) than that provided in the package I purchased. Another problem was the neck of the doll. It came out very twisted with the head facing slightly to the left. However, this is my prototype which I will use to try on clothes for the dolls I'm making for my 4 granddaughters.
The doll is beautiful, and the clothes fit great. When I'm done with the girls' dolls, I may make one just for me!

I chose Louise as my first doll project, to make for my soon to be 11 granddaughter. I enjoyed the process and the pattern was superb, if somewhat challenging at times. I even failed to read the pattern properly when making the underskirt and Ticiana responded very quickly to my query, setting me straight. I can't recommend these patterns more highly. And the bonus - I won a trophy at my State Creative Arts Exhibition. I have already purchased two other patterns (outfits for Louise) which will be a Christmas gift for said granddaughter.
