MATERIALS NEEDED

Yarn: 100% mercerized cotton, fingering weight. 

Crochetree colors:

  • 150 g: Cappuccino. 
  • 100 g: Misty Rose, Cannoli Cream, and Soft Yellow. 
  • 50 g: Elfin Yellow, Rose Dianthus, Azalea Pink, Mocha, Dark Coffee, Meteorite Black, and Ocean Denim.

Other materials:

  • Sizes 2.5 and 2.0 mm crochet hook. 
  • Embroidery floss in the following colors: 2 shades of blue, white, black, light brown and dark pink.
  • 10 mm buttons: 3 transparent, 3 white, and 4 brown.
  • Cardboard or plastic for the soles.
  • Fiberfill for stuffing.
  • Tapestry needle, pins, scissors, sewing needle, stitch markers.
  • One 20 cm acrylic stick (8 mm diameter) or a thick wooden stick for the neck (or any alternative to support the neck).
  • Coated wire (2 mm in diameter): a piece of 23 cm/9 inches long (2 mm in diameter) for each arm.

* The size of the finished doll is approx. 38 cm.  

* Skill level: intermediate to advanced.

I have just started to make the pony and so far it looks like it is a horse. I hope to do you justice when I get done with the pony but I am going to work on two of them and have one for a male and the other for a female. I love it.
