He has packed his warmest layers: a soft blouse, a bright red jacket, snug pants, a cozy hat, and sturdy boots and gloves. With his snow goggles on and his skis over his shoulder, Thomas is ready for whatever the mountain has in store. After all, even a little doctor needs a holiday now and then.

Materials needed:

• 100% mercerized cotton, fingering weight (Crochetree, Catona Scheepjes, Catania Schachenmayr, or any other similar weight)
• 2.0 mm and 2.5 mm crochet hooks
• Embroidery floss: white, black, 3 shades of brown (the darkest for the eyebrows), and a dark shade of pink
• 10 mm buttons: 3 white for the blouse, 1 blue for the pants, 4 gray for the boots, and 1 black for the snow goggles
• 12 mm hooks and eyes: 6 sets, 2 for the pants and 4 for the jacket
• Cardboard or plastic for the soles
• Fiberfill for stuffing
• Tapestry needle, pins, scissors, sewing needle, stitch markers
• One 20 cm acrylic or wooden stick (8 mm diameter) for the neck
• Coated wire (2 mm diameter): 20 cm / 7.9 in for each arm, and 26 cm / 10.24 in for the ski poles
