Step-by-step CROCHET DOLL PATTERN (in English), with full instructions for crocheting Akshaya and her beautiful outfit. Includes the facial features embroidery pattern.
MATERIALS NEEDED
Yarn: 100% mercerized cotton, fingering weight.
Crochetree colours:
- 150g: Dark Coffee.
- 100 g: Sandy Tan.
- 50 g: Beige Blush, Sodalite Blue, Antique Ruby, Scarlet Ibis, Verdant, and Vivid Mustard.

- Size 2.0 and 2.5 mm crochet hook.
- Embroidery floss: colours white, black, 2 shades of brown, 2 shades of red (for the mouth and bindi), mustard (for the hair accessory).
- Golden sewing thread.
- 53 copper or golden small beads (about 5 mm each), and 4 medium buttons.
- Cardboard or plastic for soles, fiberfill for stuffing.

Marker or a piece of yarn of a different color.
- Tapestry needle, sewing needle, pins and scissors.
- Coated wire for the arms (optional).
- Craft stick for the neck.

Lots of new techniques for me - a different stitch used for the skirt, embroidery details, beading on the head dress and making bangles - was really an interesting challenge and turned out great - a fantastic pattern, easy to follow and so enjoyable - all for a fantastic result too!

I have 53 of your patterns it includes clothing, animals too. Now I am got 10 kits yet to do. I am slowly working on getting each doll and animal done. As I get older my hands get slower but I will get them done I hope. I have been working on the Lila’s wedding dress having a little difficulty with it but I am figuring it out with your help. Not going to be the same as the dress that is showing on your pattern but close. But my grandkids will use them at their wedding someday. Thank you for sharing your patterns and designs.
