MATERIALS NEEDED
Yarn: 100% mercerized cotton, fingering weight.
Crochetree colours:
• 75 g: Vivid Mustard
• 60 g: Misty Rose
• 25 g: Cannoli Cream, Caribbean Blue, Sodalite Blue
• 30 g: Antique Ruby
• 35 g: Deep Mahogany
• 10 g: Bright White, Meteorite Black

- Size 2.0 mm crochet hook.
- Yarn: 100% mercerised cotton - fingering yarn (Crochetree, Catona Scheepjes, Catania Schachenmayr original, or any other yarn with similar weight).
- Embroidery floss: colors white, black, 3 shades of green, dark pink for the mouth and brown for the eyebrows.
- 4 buttons of 10 mm: 1 dark blue for the shorts, 3 blue for the white T-shirt.
- Cardboard or plastic for soles, fiberfill for stuffing.
- Marker or a piece of yarn of a different color.
- Tapestry needle, sewing needle, pins and scissors.
- Coated wire for the arms.
- Craft stick for the neck – for this doll I used a wooden stick of approx. 16 cm/6.3 inches long.
* The size of the finished doll is approx. 30 cm.
* Skill level: beginner to intermediate.
* Removable items: Jacket, hat, T-shirt, shorts and shoes.

This is one of many patterns i have purchased from crochetree and every single one has clear and concise instructions resulting in a beautiful doll at the end. I made mine in a crochet thread rather than the normal yarn and the doll is wonderfully tactile for children. I love how well written your patterns are. I've previously made Granny Grace 4 times & have recently finished Dominic. I loved Him when I finished him but thought the ball was a lot of tedious work, although it's really cute. Loved making his shoes ... oh so cute!

Dominic is an excellent pattern for all crocheters. Old and new. He is smaller than the other dolls and is so much fun . To watch him come to life, from his feet to his head is exciting. I am woyon his wardrobe now and the instructions as are very thorough.

Im just about done sweet Dominic. He’s adorable. I did however have to remake his shorts cause they were way too big on him. I used the 2mm and the correct yarn , but they were too big. Second pair fits him like a glove

I’m loving the pattern for Dominic. A colleague at work saw my dolls and wanted a doll in football kit. I have adapted the colours to suit and just working on the hair to be long and with a fringe. I’ll put pics when she is done
